1. Scope and capacity
To make a purchase you must be of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. We serve the countries shown in the store's country selector. The language of contract is the one you have selected on the website; in the event of any discrepancy between versions, the Spanish version shall prevail.
2. Products
The products are technical components intended for the electric conversion of bicycles. Photographs and illustrations are for guidance only. Specifications may vary due to manufacturer changes; if you have any doubt about compatibility, please contact us before purchasing. The offer is subject to stock availability.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in euros and exclude VAT. The applicable tax and shipping costs are calculated and shown broken down on the checkout screen, before you confirm the order and before any charge is made. The total amount payable is the one shown on that screen.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time, although the price applicable to your order will always be the one in force at the time you confirm it. If we detect an obvious material error in a price, we will inform you and you may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it at no cost.
4. VAT exemption for EU businesses
Businesses established in another Member State that provide a valid VAT number in the VIES register at the time of purchase are exempt from Spanish VAT, as this constitutes an intra-Community supply (art. 25 Ley 37/1992 (Spanish VAT Act) and art. 138 of Directive 2006/112/EC). The validity of the VAT number is a material requirement: if the VIES check does not come back positive, the order will be invoiced with Spanish VAT.
5. Purchase process and formation of the contract
Add the items to the cart, enter the shipping and billing details, review the summary — showing price, taxes and shipping — and confirm payment. You will receive an order confirmation email. The contract is formed at the moment we send you the dispatch confirmation of the order. We keep an electronic record of the contract and you may request a copy from us.
6. Payment methods
The payment methods shown on the checkout screen are accepted. The transaction is carried out in a secure environment and SEG EcoElectric does not at any time store your full card details. We may cancel an order if payment is declined or if we detect signs of fraud.
7. Shipping
Governed by our Shipping Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
8. Withdrawal, returns and warranty
Governed by our Returns Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms and includes the 14-calendar-day right of withdrawal for consumers and the three-year legal warranty of conformity.
9. Liability
We are liable for any lack of conformity of the products under the legally established terms. We are not liable for damage arising from installation carried out by the buyer or by a third party, from the use of components outside the manufacturer's specifications, or from the use on public roads of a modified vehicle that does not comply with the regulations applicable in the country of use. It is the buyer's responsibility to verify that the resulting configuration is legal in their country.
10. Data protection
The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Ley Orgánica 3/2018 (Spanish Data Protection Act).
11. Partial invalidity
If any clause is declared invalid, the remainder shall continue to be valid and shall be interpreted as if that clause had not been included.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are contracting as a consumer, the courts of your place of residence shall have jurisdiction, and you retain the rights granted to you under the mandatory law of your country of residence. If you are contracting as a business or professional, the parties expressly submit to the courts of Santander, waiving any other jurisdiction.
